VFX Target
If one of the VFX command is used without an argument, the VFX will target your own PC. But you can also target something else by specifying:
- familiar (or fam)
- pet (or companion, or comp, or animal, or animalcompanion)
- summon (or sum)
- placeable (or pl, or plc), which denotes the latest placeable you created.
One-shot VFX (Fire and Forget)
To use a one-shot VFX by number, use /vfxfnfXXX TARGET, with XXX replaced by the VFX number you can find here. Select one of the VFX_FNF. The VFX will display, then it stops by itself.
Some shortcuts for one-shot VFX are available:
- /smokepuff TARGET
- /dispelvfx TARGET
- /holystrike TARGET
- /evilstrike TARGET
- /lightningstrike TARGET
- /magicburst TARGET
- /shiftvfx TARGET
Permanent VFX
To turn on a permanent VFX by number, use /vfxdurXXX TARGET, with XXX replaced by the VFX number you can find here. Select one of the VFX_DUR. The VFX will stay in place, until cancelled.
To cancel a particular VFX, type the exact same command you used to create it. The command acts like a switch.
If you forgot what number the VFX was, or if you wish to remove all permanent effects at once, use /cancelvfx TARGET.
Dispel invisibility and spells effects
If you have used some kind of invisibility and would like to be visible again to RP, use /reveal.
If your PC is overwhelmed by VFX caused by spells, use /dispel to dispel all of them instantly.
